Scope of application

This cancellation and return policy applies to all orders placed by consumers via our online shop.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

Exercising the right of cancellation

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear statement by e-mail of your decision to withdraw from this contract. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. The withdrawal can be informal.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than 7 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the 7-day period.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed with you.

Reduction in value

You shall only be liable for any reduction in the value of the goods if this reduction in value is attributable to handling by you that is not necessary for testing the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion or expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply or expires prematurely in the case of the following contracts:

– Contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

This includes, in particular, devices and products used close to the body that come into direct contact with the skin, mucous membranes or bodily fluids. If the seal or hygienic protective packaging of such products is opened or removed after delivery, there is no right of withdrawal or return.

Please note that we can only accept returns of originally sealed packages.

Statutory warranty

Regardless of your right of withdrawal, your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. If the delivered goods are defective or already show a defect upon receipt, please contact us immediately by email at hello@luminous.com so that we can find a solution together (repair, replacement delivery or refund).
